Monika Hubbard is an Institutional Retirement Consultant for Unified Trust Company. As an experienced employee benefits professional, Monika is a frequent lecturer on retirement plan design matters, fiduciary issues and industry trends.
Mrs. Hubbard graduated with Honors from the University of Kentucky where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance. She presently holds the following professional designations:
• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist from the Wharton School of Business
• PLANSPONSOR Retirement Professional from the PLANSPONSOR Institute
• Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies
She is the former Vice Chairperson and Investment Committee Chairperson of the Kentucky Deferred Compensation Authority’s 401(k) & 457 Plans, which total over $1.8 billion in assets. She is a past member of the Salvation Army Board of Directors and past President of the Holy Trinity Parish School Board. She has been a past President of the Louisville Employees Benefits Council, local chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists and a former board member of the Actors Theatre of Louisville.
In 2016, she was named one of the NAPA Top 100 DC Wholesalers, representing the top 7% of the industry. NAPA’s 2016 100 Top DC Wholesalers — the "Wingmen" — were selected by a process overseen by a blue ribbon panel of advisors.
Mrs. Hubbard serves and oversees the Southeast territory of the United States as an Institutional Retirement Consultant.
