Mr. Avent is the Managing Director of Wealth Management at Unified Trust Company. He has been with the company for 14 years.
He has over 20 years of investment experience creating, implementing and monitoring high level solutions for wealth management clients.
Mr. Avent received a BBA in Finance and a BS in Economics from the University of Kentucky’s Carol Martin Gatton College of Business and Economics in 1998. Mr. Avent has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies and the Certified Financial Planner™ certification.
He is responsible for the coordination and management of the strategic planning, budgeting, ongoing operations, and sales management for the Wealth Management division. As a member of the Trust Investment Committee and Trust Executive Committee he participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
Mr. Avent serves on the board of the Downtown Lexington Corporation and was a member of the 2012-2013 Central KY Leadership Class.
Mr. Avent has two children with his wife of over 20 years. He enjoys golf, baseball, water sports, reading and spending time with family.
